Hi there!

For the fifth time, I am putting myself up to a month of heavy spinning all in the spirit of Tour de Fleece, a spin-off (pun intented!) of Tour de France. Every year I achieve so much, yet I always fail at my own goals. Probably I don’t set those goals very realistically at the beginning. So this year, I haven’t set any goals. No “I want to spin all these pretty braids!” or “I pledge to spin 30 minutes every day!” After quite a few months of hard-core wedding-planning, I am totally chill and just promising myself to enjoy spinning.

These happened on day 1-4:

Since one of those days was a 24 hour on-duty day in the hospital, I am pretty impressed with my progress so far. I did do some sample mini-skeins which were great for instant gratification.

While at the hospital, I did have some time to spin some Nunoco on my supported:

Then, over the past two days, I’ve been spinning a nice polwarth braid from Gritty Knits on my balcony.
